You have two options for paying for your service:
OPTION 1: Bank transfer (BACS) in advance.
OPTION 2: Pay on the day with cash or cheque.
For services where you won’t be present when our team have finished (such as end of tenancy cleans), full payment is required in advance.
No, we supply all cleaning materials.
We use a rang of environmentally friendly products that we use for 90% of Blitzes. However, if we are faced with a particularly tough cleaning task then we may use more potent cleaning products but our staff will advice you in advance so you can decide whether we use those products or not.
Ideally, we prefer the customer to be present at least at the beginning and the end of our service but if you need to go out for any reason whilst our team are at work, that’s not a problem.
However, if you’d like a service booked on a vacant property, or whilst you’re out then that’s not a problem and we can organise to collect keys and return them when we’re finished. The only condition we have with working whilst the customer isn’t present is that payment is made in advance.
Yes we do.
Our insurance covers for breakages plus any accidents to our staff members. We’re happy to provide you with a copy of our insurance certificate should you wish to validate it. Please click on the link below to see our policy:
All our Blitzing staff have undergone a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checks to ensure they don’t have any criminal convictions plus we vet all new staff thoroughly and check their references.
We wouldn’t allow any of our staff in your home if we didn’t trust them 100% in our own homes.
Our Blitzers will treat your home with the utmost care but if a breakages happens then we’ll make every effort to have the item repaired or replaced (like for like). If it can’t be repaired or replaced then we have insurance for such rare occasions.
If you have any items that are of sentimental or high value, we’d simply suggest asking our Blitzers to omit them from any cleaning service. Some things in life simply can’t be replaced by any insurance policy so if we don’t touch them, there is no chance of any accidents.
Kitchen Blitz FAQs
Due to those dreaded Health & Safety laws, our Blitzers can’t stand on a ladder to clean the tops of eye-level kitchen units. We use a long-reach duster to remove cobwebs and as much dust as possible but we can’t physically clean the tops of eye-level units.
For our Kitchen Blitzes, we thoroughly clean your oven externally and provide a basic internal clean. An oven deep-clean can take several hours and requires additional equipment. As not every customer wants or needs a deep-clean of their oven we don’t include it in our Kitchen Blitzes.
However, if you want your oven deep-cleaned we can arrange it to be done either before or after your Kitchen Blitz. Prices start from £49.00 for a single oven.
No two kitchen are the same so it’s difficult to give precise times however, the following guide times are based on our average blitz times:
- Basic Blitz – 2-4 hours
- Super Blitz – 4-6 hours
Home Blitz FAQs
This really depends on the size of the property. Our aim is to do it within 1 day.
Bathroom Blitz FAQs
The primary difference between the two blitz types is the cleaning of the tiles.
With a basic blitz, we’ll wipe-down the tiles and grouting (the area between the tiles) which in most cases is sufficient to produce a good result. However, if your tiling has heavily embedded limescale and mould, this required a separate treatment which involves us using a small brush and cleaning agents to physically remove the mould & limescale. This treatment can be quite time-consuming so does require a Super Blitz.
Garage Blitz FAQs
If your Garage Blitz results in just a few bags of general waste then it can be disposed of via your weekly bin collection. However, if there is a lot of unwanted junk or rubbish that you want disposed of, there are two options available:
1. You can take your waste to any local Council run tip and dispose of it for free. You can find your local tip by clicking this link (opens in new tab/window).
2. We can arrange for one of our Licensed Clearance Partners to collect and dispose of your waste. As Clearance Companies are unable to use the free council tips, surcharges for disposing of unwanted waste will apply.
It obviously depends on how much clutter your garage contains but typically a blitz takes around 3-4 hours for a single garage.
